You Can't Unsee It

Antifa, short for "anti-fascist," is a loose, decentralized network of activists and groups that oppose fascism, racism, and far-right ideologies through direct action, protests, and, at times, violence. Emerging from early 20th-century European anti-fascist movements, it gained prominence in the U.S. during the 2010s, particularly in response to white supremacist rallies and policies from the Trump administration. Members often don black bloc attire to maintain anonymity and employ tactics such as counter-demonstrations, doxxing, and property damage, viewing their actions as forms of self-defense against oppressive systems.
